Share links
Share from the editor and a kestrelscreen.app/s/… link lands in your clipboard. The viewer page shows the image cleanly and unfurls with a large preview in Slack, iMessage and social.
Kestrel Cloud
Share a capture as a link. Find it again on any Mac.
Kestrel Cloud is optional. The app works fully without it. When you sign in, sharing becomes a link in your clipboard instead of a file in someone’s downloads folder.
Expiry you choose
Links expire after 7 days on the free plan, up to 30 days with a supporter licence, and whenever you like on Pro, including never. Expired links show a clear “gone” page.
Password links
On Pro, protect a link with a password. The viewer asks for it before showing anything.
History sync
On Pro, every capture you keep shows up in the history window of each Mac you sign in to. Deletions sync too.
Device sign-in
The app shows a short code, you confirm it on kestrelscreen.app/device. No password ever goes through the app.
Manage everything
See your links, views and storage in the dashboard. Change expiry, add a password or delete a link at any time.
How sign-in works
- Start the sign-in to Kestrel Cloud from the Kestrel app.
- The app shows a code like ABCD-EFGH and opens kestrelscreen.app/device.
- Confirm the code in your browser. The app is signed in.
